Before I jump into the reviews and thoughts on diets and fitness, I want to give you a little background on why in the world I would start a fitness and diet site. Probably like a lot of you, I have seen my weight go up and down over the years. Every year just before Summer and just after the holidays, it seems like I am pushing it hard to shed a few extra pounds.

I should mention, I am not looking for some crazy diet, that halfway through my warm up set I completely bonk because I have been living off 1500 calories a day. I am looking for fitness and diet solutions that work without destroying my life.

So why a focus on men’s diets and fitness? Basically out of shear frustration. I found that most of the Websites, blogs or articles on how to lose weight reminded me of falling asleep reading my high school chemistry book or walking into Slick-Willy’s snake oil pit. I wanted a place addressing men’s weight loss and fitness issues. Something that didn’t involve eating cabbage three meals a day as the suggested diet.

Ladies, this isn’t to say this information isn’t useful for you. A lot of this information can and is useful for you. But I wanted a site to help address men’s questions and needs that I wasn’t finding other places. That being said, if you know someone whose spare tire is beginning to show, I may be able to give you some tips on what might work best from a guys perspective.

So, my buddies and I will be trying some of the most popular diet and fitness programs out there and passing on our candid thoughts, hopefully helping guide you through this crazy dieting and fitness process.

Like I mentioned earlier, I will try to make this a bit more friendly and real world practical than your chemistry textbook. So check back often for my latest thoughts and reviews. Also, if you find something that works great, let me know so either my buddies or I can give it a try and pass our results along to everyone else.
